The scab from Zach's umbilical cord came off on Friday night. This is the kind of thing that can make a new parent's day.

Hey, When we spoke on Friday, the scab hadn't fallen off yet. We missed it by a mere few hours. Aw shoot, we could've seen it fall off on the web cam! Timing IS everything. Grandma & Grandpa
In Hawaii that thing is called a piko. It has special powers! You should hold on to it like we have. I would guess that after about 5 more kids our piko neclace will be complete. I will post a picture when it is :)
Oh yeah! That's nothin'! I have two whole placentas in my freezer!! Just waiting for a tree to plant.... Okay, I guess that is a little bit gross... ;)
