A few weeks ago Jennifer and Josh, Zach's birth parents, and (Grandma Barabara, too!) came and visited Zach. It was our first time meeting Josh, and the first time he'd seen Zachary since shortly after his birth. It was a very good, very emotional visit. We're all looking forward to seeing each other again soon!
These first set of shots were taken in the hotel where Jennifer, Josh and Barbara were staying in Fisherman's Wharf. Amy, Zach and I drove up on Saturday night and we had dinner in Jennifer & Barbara's room

Over Memorial Day we flew to Phoenix to visit Zach's cousins, Ian (2.5 yrs) and Connor (a month older than Zachary), his Uncle Kevin (Amy's big bro), Aunt Jo, as well as Amy's parents who were visiting, too. It was great to have the kids all together. Connor was very interested in Zach, but Zach wasn't at the stage where he was taking notice of other people, unless they were holding a bottle!
Connor was nice enough to share his crib with Zach, but it didn't last long and we only did it once. As soon as one of them stirred, they both started crying. Guess that's what having twins is like! Still, it made for a great photo op...
Amy playing Thomas the Train cards with Ian. Ian LOVES Thomas.
Zach and Connor meet for the first time.
What happy babies. They obviously enjoy each other's company ...
... well, until Zach got a little bored, or ...
... or realized that Connor had a dirty diaper;)
That's one happy Daddy/Uncle Jon with the two amigos.
Zach discovers the activity mat. This is the one that prompted Kevin and Jo to get one for us (see video in the previous post). What a great gift. He is still fascinated by it!
